Week 14 of the Earring Challenge
I am really enjoying designing just with wire this month.
Like last week’s pair this week I am working with one wire and one bead. These
are delicate and striking little studs. Their square design pushes forward to
create depth but keeps things simple with only the two elements.
These are sterling silver 20 gauge wire with a sterling
silver bead at the end. The ear posts and nuts are sterling silver as well.

Week 13 of the Earring Challenge
Some weeks it’s all about simplicity. I was inspired by an
earring repair I did for a client. What she brought me had only two elements,
one wire and a bead. So this week I thought about what I could do with one wire
and a sterling bead. I came up with about 5 pairs of simple but elegant
earrings. This is the pair that won.

silver bead at the end.

Week 12 of the Earring Challenge
We just got home from a great beach trip. My husband
daughter and I left Friday for an impromptu vacation. We hid Easter eggs and
played on the beach. What a great way to welcome spring. Before we left I did
manage to finish my earrings for the week but posting was out of the question.
Packing took all of my attention.
This week I had spring on my mind, new growth and budding
trees. These are little tree studs. They are sterling silver wire and tubes.
With a small peridot set in the center to represent green leaves. The ear posts
and nuts are also sterling silver.
