This week’s pair of earrings turned out as a happy accident. I had a very different idea when I first started. When my hand slipped cutting my design I realized quickly I needed to rearrange a few elements. This led me to look at what shapes I had created and build off them. It can be a great exercise (or great headache) when your plans don’t work the way you thought.
These earrings are pierced sterling silver. They have been oxidized to show off their hammered texture. I used wire wrapping to attach a few freshwater pearls to each, and they have handmade sterling silver ear wires.
